Gerstenberg Services A/S in Denmark has announced their successful installation and start up of their own fully automated Polaron pilot plant and research facility in Denmark along with FH Scandinox.
The pilot plant is equipped with:
- Fully automated preparation system
- Polaron high pressure pump type PP31
- Pilot Polaron SSHE type A+B+C+D for CO2 as refrigerant
- 2 Polaron pin rotor machines type 3 X 3.5 I.
- Resting tube (a pin rotor machine type 3 X 1 I. is available as an option).
Once the travel restrictions are lifted, the pilot plant will be open for customer trials and tests to provide more insight into the processing benefits achieved through CO2 cooling.
